The Cybex Pallas G i-Size car seat will fit perfectly for years to come: the car seat is designed to grow with your child from 9 months to 12 years. So you only need to buy one chair to go through the different ages. In phase 1 you use the car seat with safety cushion. At the age of about 3/4 years (stage 2) you can remove the safety cushion and raise the headrest.Specifications

Description
The Cybex Pallas G i-Size car seat will fit perfectly for years to come: the car seat is designed to grow with your child from 9 months to 12 years. So you only need to buy one chair to go through the different ages. In phase 1 you use the car seat with safety cushion. At the age of about 3/4 years (stage 2) you can remove the safety cushion and raise the headrest. If the child has grown out of this chair, it is possible to remove the backrest and you are left with a booster seat. (Phase 3)
The optimized safety cushion reduces the risk of serious neck injuries without restricting the child. When it's time for a nap, the patented, adjustable headrest prevents the child's head from tilting forward. It supports the head to remain in the safety zone of the headrest at all times, which is especially important in the event of a side impact. Together with the headrest, the car seat has an L.S.P system. The system provides greater safety by reducing the forces of a side impact.
About the different fabrics:
The Comfort fabric is a stretchy knitted fabric in a solid color. Feels soft and is gentle on your child's skin. Easy to wipe clean.
The Plus Fabric is a quality fabric that is durable and wear-resistant and yet soft to the touch. Airy padding and 3D mesh inserts in the seat area provide extra breathability and reduce sweating.
