The Sirona T i-Size is a car seat that offers better protection against accidents, reduces the risk of head or neck injury and improves safety by 50% (compared to the same forward-facing seat; results of tests according to the ADAC criteria). In the event of an accident, the child is pushed to the outside of the seat, where the forces are distributed and the shock is absorbed. Rear-facing seats are mandatory for at least 15 months (76 cm long). After that, you can rotate the Sirona T-Size forward-facing, although we recommend up to four years of rearward-facing travel if possible.
The Cybex Sirona T i-Size has five sleeping positions, both rearward and forward facing. The Sirona T can also rotate lying on its base. Only one hand is needed to operate the chair, leaving your other hand free for other tasks.
The proven Linear Side Impact Protection (LSP) system increases safety in a side collision. Together with the car seat's energy-absorbing exterior, the LSP reduces the initial shock force by up to 25% (compared to the same seat without LSP according to ADAC test criteria). The LSP system can be folded if space in the car is limited.
The Sirona T i-Size grows with your child, thanks to a height-adjustable headrest designed to accommodate your child's rapid growth. Thanks to the 12 different positions of the headrest, you can adjust the car seat to the height of your child during the first four years and it offers constant protection.
A newborn insert provides an almost flat reclining position for safe travel from birth. The baby's head is held in the ideal ergonomic position, especially while sleeping. If your baby grows taller than 60 cm, the newborn insert must be removed.
With magnets you can attach the belt system to the sides of the Sirona T i-Size, so that the belts do not get in the way when you get your child in or out of the car seat.
What is the difference between the Sirona T Comfort and Sirona T Plus?
The Plus fabric version has even better airflow, with a 3D mesh that increases breathability up to six times (compared to comfort fabric). The Plus line also has a UPF50+ sunshade, which offers your child excellent protection against the sun, even in the car. For warmer days, the sunshade features a mesh insert for breathability and cool airflow (mesh areas are not UPF50+).
