The Cybex SensorSafe Dongle is used in combination with the Cybex SensorSafe clip and your smartphone. The Cybex Sensorsafe Dongle is a wireless receiver that connects to the OBD port of your car and facilitates communication between the SensorSafe clip and your smartphone. The system works with the SensorSafe App, which you can download on your smartphone via the App Store® or Google Play™. When the car reaches a speed of at least 8 km per hour, the Dongle will start to work. Within seconds after parking the car and taking your keys out the ignition, the Dongle will remind you that your child is still in the vehicle. It will also alert you when the battery of the closed SensorSafe clip is low.
