Cozy up with the Cybex footmuffs

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: the holidays are just around the corner and we snuggle up with hot chocolate under a warm blanket. It's also the time of year in which your little one can use some extra warmth. Let me tell you about our Cybex footmuffs and how to choose the right one.

As a new parent it’s easy to get lost with all the available accessories on the market and this can also definitely be the case with footmuffs, let me tell you about the most important thing to know when it comes to keeping your little one warm and which Cybex footmuff we advise for which weather conditions.

You want your child to be comfortable and to know approximately how warm you need to dress them, the TOG chart is really great. Obviously every child is different but it’s giving you a good idea of what is needed. Check every now and then the neck of your little on to know how comfortable he is. Is the neck sweaty? Too warm. Neck too cold? Your child needs a bit more warmth. Neck warm? The baby is comfortable.

Now, which footmuff do we advise? With weather conditions between 10 and -10 degrees the best choice is a footmuff with a TOG rating 4, if you combine this with warm clothes, your child will be well protected against the cold. For this we advise the Cybex Snøgga Footmuff, it’s universal and therefore suited for most strollers of all brands.

If you deal with more extreme weather conditions, we advise you the Cybex Platinum Winter Footmuff which has a has a TOG rating of 6. In combination with warm clothes, this footmuff keeps your little one warm up to temperatures of -20 degrees. The footmuff is universal and suitable for most strollers of all brands.

Important: footmuffs are suited from the moment that you use the seat of the stroller. Don’t use the footmuff in the travel cot as there is a risk that your baby will slide into the footmuff!
