The Cybex Aton 5 is the comfortable and safe travel companion. The unique features, such as the height-adjustable headrest with integrated harness, and the excellent energy-absorbing shell in combination with the crash-tested L.S.P. system ensure optimum safety.
The Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P. System) absorbs the force of a side-impact, along with the energy-absorbing shell. The very first impact of a collision is distributed via the Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P. system) and its extendable protectors, and absorbed by the flexible structure of the car seat material. The flexible materials and structure of the car seat absorb the forces of the impact and carry them away from the baby.
The large sun canopy which is adjustable in 4 steps offers UV50+ protection against the sun. The Cybex Aton 5 is also a perfect car seat for premature babies and very small newborns. The new lie-flat function in the Aton 5 provides an ideal sitting angle and ensures that small babies are perfectly aligned with their head, neck and chest. This significantly reduces the risk of suffocation due to the head falling forward. This function has been tested in close cooperation with German doctors and midwives.
The Cybex Aton 5 can be used with a seat belt or with one of the optional bases for easy installation.
